Tyro’s broadband/GPRS EFTPOS solution offers swift, secure and more affordable acceptance of all cards and now, in partnership with CabFare, Tyro has developed specific taxi features with preferential rates for CabFare drivers.

Tyro’s GPRS (Banksys Atos Origin) terminals have descriptive billing (source, pick-up, destination, extras) and are enabled for tipping. Transaction data can be viewed securely online in real time. The European designed terminals are EMV (chip card) ready and Tyro will shortly be adding Dynamic Currency Conversion for international transactions.
